Here at The Halifax Academy we want all students to reach their full potential. So that this can happen, we need to make sure that we are learning in a calm and caring environment. Our behaviour policy is based on RESPECT; The Halifax Academy community demands Responsible, Engaged, Smart, Punctual, Equipped, Co-operative, Trustworthy students.

The high expectations of all teachers and staff are there to make sure that you get the best out of your time at the academy and that you constantly strive to be the best that you can be.

Our pride theme helps us to understand how we can meet these high expectations in all aspects of school life. Remember the way you look, your attitude to your work and the way you behave in school and in the wider community plays an important part in making your school one of the best in the country.

Everyone has the right to feel safe and learn at all times whilst at The Halifax Academy. You are responsible for you and you have a responsibility to help others to learn and feel safe at all times whilst at the academy.
