Free school meals entitlement
We are aware that some families are becoming increasingly concerned about the financial impact of the COVID-19 response. If your family circumstances have changed, your child may be eligible for free school meals. Primary school meals
Our Primary school meals are freshly prepared each day in our kitchen, with a specific primary menu aimed at younger children. We are working closely with the Food for Life Partnership to make our school meals the best they can be. Menus are published to parents termly.
All infant pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have been offered free school meals through the Universal Infant Free School Meals policy. We will also provide a snack each day through the School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme, along with a drink of milk for children in Reception. For pupils in Year 3 upwards, the cost of a meal is £2.05. Parents must pay for school meals via ParentPay. Parents can find out more about ParentPay at the academy here.
If your child will not be having a school meal, please contact the office on 01422 430480 to make alternative arrangements.
