Admissions Policy for September 2020 

The trustees of Impact Education Multi Academy Trust have published the draft admissions arrangements for September 2020. There now follows a consultation period, which will last for six weeks and close on 4 January 2019.

Current admissions process

All admissions to The Halifax Academy are currently managed by Calderdale Council. Please follow this link for further information: Calderdale Council Schools Admissions

Years 7-11

For admissions from primary school into The Halifax Academy, parents and guardians must follow the Calderdale Council admission process. Further information on the admission process can be found on the Calderdale Council website: Admissions

Parents and guardians who wish to transfer their child into The Halifax Academy ‘in year’, must complete the ‘in year’ application form which can be found on the Calderdale Council website: In-year transfers. Calderdale Council will write to confirm the outcome of the application.
