We are delighted that three of our Year 7 pupils, Muhsin Mehrban, Ferhan Hussain and Mujtabaa Nassar have reached the national final of the S4TP (Solutions for the Planet) Big Ideas Competition, a national STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) competition, which will take place at the Palace of Westminster later this month.

Two students of the The Halifax Academy, Miski Abdirahman and Umayyah Ahmed, have been developing their confidence, self-belief and motivation through their participation in the AQA Unlocking Potential programme - an eight month transformational mentoring programme for young people aged 14-19 years of age. The girls are enjoying working with their mentor Jenny Wallwork, former world number five badminton player and Commonwealth Games medal winner.
