Aspirant Lead Practitioner in Science

Scale: MPS/UPS, TLR 2H (£4,597)

Required from September 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter we want to appoint an Aspirant Lead Practitioner who has an excitement and drive for teaching and learning in order to make a difference to student achievement. The Aspirant Lead teacher will be a dynamic, hardworking teacher and a strong team player and will work alongside our Lead Practitioners of the Faculty. You would be joining a good academy with a highly effective and supportive team, where innovation is encouraged and supported. 

Being the founding member of the Impact Multi Academy Trust and the first 4-16 all-through school in Calderdale, we can offer excellent development opportunities for all of our staff. We currently have 1047 students learning within the academy, and this will grow to 1420 by 2020 when our primary phase is full.

Lead Science Technician

Scale 4 – 37 hours per week, Term time + 5 additional days

Actual Salary Range: £15,482 - £17254 per annum

 

Required to start as soon as possible, The Halifax Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to lead on the provision of a first class resourcing service to support our busy Science faculty. 

The successful candidate will also be a great team player, good communicator and dedicated to raising the achievement of our students. We are a team of driven, enthusiastic and friendly staff, who contribute greatly to the success of the academy and its pupils.  The Halifax Academy is a popular and over-subscribed community school which has outstanding facilities.
