World Book Day celebrations
World Book Day took place on Thursday 1st March, but due to the bad weather school was closed and we could not join in with the celebrations. This didn't stop our Primary children holding it on a different day.
Each class focussed on a book and produced some excellent writing and art work, which you can see around the Primary building. The children swapped classes just before lunch where a different teacher read them some stories.
The day ended with a 'World Book Day Mastermind Competition'; two children from each class had been studying a book at home. In true Mastermind Style they were asked a range of questions relating to that book and had to correctly answer as many as they could in two minutes. The winner of the competition will be revealed in Friday assembly so watch this space....
